Heavey RF were delighted to win 'SME Project of the Year' at the ICT Excellence Awards ceremony held on the 1st May, 2008.  This award was sponsored by IBM and presented by SMB manager for IBM Ireland, David Tallon.

Heavey RF won the award for the upgrade of a legacy system at Shamrock Foods warehouse.  The upgraded system gave a significant increase in accuracy and productivity.  The system involved a wireless network using fork lift truck data collection and wearable voice units delivering voice picking technology.
